Tədris filmində böyük satirik şair Mirzə Ələkbər Sabirin yaradıcılığının əsas cəhətlərindən söhbət açılır. Əyani dərs vəsaiti kimi yaradılmış bu filmdə qızı Səriyyənin atası barədə xatirələri, şairin müasirlərinin onun haqqında söylədikləri fikirlər səslənir.
