Attaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu (transl. Husband to the girl and Yama to the mother-in-law) is a 1989 Indian Telugu-language masala film co-written and directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. Produced by Allu Aravind, the film stars Chiranjeevi, Vanisri, and Vijayashanti. The film marks Vanisri's comeback to cinema after several years. Released on 14 January 1989, the film was a major commercial success. It was an industry hit film at the time. It was eventually remade in Tamil twice as Maapillai (1989) and Mappillai (2011), in Kannada as Bhale Chathura (1990), in Hindi as Jamai Raja (1990), in Malayalam as Mr. Marumakan (2012), in Bengali as Sasurbari Zindabad in 2000 and in Bangladeshi Bengali as Shoshurbari Zindabad in 2002.
