Se kertoo kuvausryhmästä, joka kuvaa nuoren ohjaajan nuoruusmuistoihin perustuvaa elokuvaa, tämän ensimmäistä, ohjaajan kotikaupungissa Tanskan Århusissa. Tämä ”metaelokuva” (elokuva elokuvasta) on ohjaajan mukaan paitsi omakohtainen, myös kunnianosoitus François Truffaut’n elokuvalle Amerikkalainen yö.
