ട്രീ ഹൗസ് ടാക്കീസിൻറെ ബാനറിൽ 2018 ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ചിത്രമാണ് ഏക. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ രഹന ഫാത്തിമ സുപ്രധാന വേഷത്തിൽ അഭിനയിക്കുന്നു. മനോജ് കെ ശ്രീധർ ആണ് നിർമ്മാതാവ്. ഗറില്ല ഫിലിം മേക്കിംഗ് രീതിയിൽ ചിത്രീകരിച്ച എകയിൽ നിരവധി ട്രാൻസ്ജെണ്ടർ കമ്യൂണിറ്റി അംഗങ്ങളും വേഷങ്ങൾ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നു. കേരളം, കർണ്ണാട, തമിഴ്നാട് എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലൂടെയും മലയാളം, കന്നട, തമിഴ്, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഭാഷകളിലൂടെയുമാണ് ചിത്രം വികസിക്കുന്നത്. ‘മൂന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്ത സാംസ്കാരിക പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലൂടെയാണ് ശരീരരാഷ്ട്രീയം പറയുന്ന പ്ലോട്ടുകളും ഫ്രെയിമുകളും കടന്നുപോകുന്നത്. ശരീരം കുറ്റകൃത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല, ശരീരത്തെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള ചുറ്റുപാടുകളാണ് കുറ്റകൃത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നത് എന്നാണ് 'ഏക' പറയുന്നത്. മലയാളം, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് , തമിഴ്, കന്നഡ എന്നീ ഭാഷകൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഏക സംവദിക്കുന്നത് മിശ്രഭാഷയിലാണ്.
