Der Drache Daniel ist ein vom DEFA-Studio für Spielfilme (Filmstudio Babelsberg) und der künstlerischen Arbeitsgruppe „Berlin“ produziertes Gegenwartsmärchen der DDR, das unter der Regie von Hans Kratzert nach einem Drehbuch von Katrin Lange im Jahre 1989 entstand.
