Blade of Fury (Chinese: 一刀傾城; pinyin: Yīdāo qīngchéng; lit. 'One Blade to Conquer the City'), also known as China's First Swordsman (Chinese: 神州第一刀; pinyin: Shénzhōu dì yī dāo; lit. 'The First Blade in China'), is a 1993 historical martial arts drama film directed by Sammo Hung. A Chinese-Hong Kong co-production, the film was released theatrically on 15 July 1993. The main character, Chinese hero Wang Wu, has been the subject of multiple films and television series. Many critics consider Blade of Fury to essentially be a remake of Iron Bodyguard.
