Broken Arrow is a 1996 American action film directed by John Woo, and written by Graham Yost. The film stars John Travolta, Christian Slater, and Samantha Mathis. The plot follows the theft of two American nuclear weapons, the attempts of U.S. military authorities to recover them, and the feud between Travolta's and Slater's characters. Broken Arrow was released by 20th Century Fox on February 9, 1996. The film was a commercial success, receiving mixed reviews and grossing $150.2 million against a $50 million budget.
