Jeet (transl. Victory) is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language romantic action film written and directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film stars Sunny Deol, Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Tabu and Amrish Puri. Released on 23 August 1996, Jeet was blockbuster at the box office. With a production budget of ₹5.6 crore, it earned ₹30.5 crore worldwide, becoming one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 1996. The film was remade in Dhallywood as Laal Badshah (1999).
