Sein ist Anderssein ist ein deutscher Dokumentarfilm der Babel TV Film und Video GmbH im Auftrag des SWF Baden-Baden aus dem Jahr 1993, der im SWF ausgestrahlt wurde. Der Film wurde am 1. Dezember 1996 und am 4. Dezember 1996 wiederholt. Er entstand in den Jahren 1988 bis 1995 als dritte Folge einer Serie von vier Filmen, die den Wiederaufbau der Neuen Synagoge dokumentiert: „Ner Tamid, Ewiges Licht“, „Vergeben und versöhnen ist nicht vergessen“, „Sein ist Anderssein“ und „Auferstehung – Neue Synagoge Centrum Judaicum“. Der Film wurde von Róża Berger-Fiedler produziert, die als Geschäftsführerin der BABEL Film und Video GmbH & Agentur und mit ihrem gleichnamigen Magazin Babel TV ein Nachrichten-Programm über das jüdische Leben in Berlin unterhält. Die Dokumentation entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit Harry Hornig, Peter von Herwardt, Gunter Breßler, Rudolf Völkel und Holger Rogge.
