Grant, Lynsey Baxter, Perdita Weeks und Simon Cadell in den Hauptrollen. Der Film wurde von Meteor Film Productions produziert und basiert auf einer Idee von Friedrich Dürrenmatt, der den Stoff unmittelbar nach seiner Erstverfilmung zum Roman mit dem Titel Das Versprechen ausarbeitete.
