What happens

Tomas on Raimo O. Niemen ohjaama elokuva vuodelta 1995. Kun Niemi aloitti elokuvan kuvaamisen, hänen samassa aihepiirissä liikkuva edellinen elokuvansa Kissan kuolema ei ollut vielä ehtinyt ensi-iltaan. Käsikirjoittaja Risto Hyppönen oli tehnyt tarinasta eri versioita jo vuonna 1991, mutta Elokuvasäätiö ei ollut kiinnostunut tukemaan toteutusta. Filminor kuitenkin ryhtyi toteuttamaan sitä, ja ohjaajaksi tuli Niemi. Käsikirjoitusta kehitettiin edelleen, Niemen toivomuksesta pehmeämpään suuntaan. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
