Autorem hudby k filmu je Barney Wilen, který s režisérem spolupracoval již na snímku Les baisers de secours (1989). Hlavní roli malíře Philippa ve snímku ztvárnil Luis Rego, zatímco jeho otce hrál režisérův otec Maurice Garrel.
