Afterglow is a 1997 American comedy-drama film directed and written by Alan Rudolph and starring Nick Nolte, Julie Christie, Lara Flynn Boyle and Jonny Lee Miller. It was produced by Robert Altman and filmed in Montreal. Christie's performance earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress. The film is about two married couples who end up attracted to each other's partners. Rudolph called it "intentionally a grown-up cousin of Choose Me." (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
