Lunastus on Taideteollisen korkeakoulun elokuvataiteen linjalla opiskelleen Olli Saarelan ohjaama esikoiselokuva vuodelta 1997. Lyhytelokuvan budjetilla tehtyä pitkää elokuvaa esitettiin yhdellä kopiolla pienessä helsinkiläisessä elokuvateatteri Illusionissa. Siellä sen näki vain runsaat kolmetuhatta ihmistä, mutta televisiossa Lunastuksen katsoi 741 000 katsojaa. Lunastus kertoo papista Suomen sisällissodan pyörteissä. Elokuva sai kuusi Jussi-palkintoa.
