Tatort und der erste gemeinsame Fall des von Klaus J. Behrendt und Dietmar Bär gespielten Ermittlerteams Ballauf und Schenk. Für Kriminalhauptkommissar Max Ballauf selbst ist es der neunte Tatortfall, er war vorher Teil des Düsseldorfer Ermittlerteams Flemming, Koch und Ballauf.
