It stars Ethan Hawke, Gwyneth Paltrow, Hank Azaria, Chris Cooper, Anne Bancroft and Robert De Niro. The film adapts Charles Dickens's 1861 novel Great Expectations, moving the setting from Victorian London to contemporary New York.
