How it feels
Three adults in Rome, shaped by the myths of the 1960s economic boom, chase unlikely dreams of fame from football to singing. Their ambitions threaten family bonds until they eventually give up the fantasies. They settle into ordinary jobs and focus on the people they love.

Boom è un film italiano del 1999 diretto da Andrea Zaccariello. Il titolo del film deriva dal Boom economico degli anni '60 che coi suoi miti (il calcio di Pelé, la musica di Claudio Villa e i film su Maciste) ha condizionato i protagonisti che, diventati adulti, cercano di realizzare i propri impossibili sogni di fama; rischiando, per questo, di perdere l'affetto dei propri familiari. Alla fine i protagonisti abbandonano le illusioni e si concentrano sui propri cari e su lavori "normali".
