The film has an ensemble cast comprising Ananth Nag, Shashi Kumar, Suhasini Maniratnam, Urvashi, Anu Prabhakar, Mohan Shankar, and Umashree. It is a remake of the Tamil film Viralukketha Veekkam (1999).
