The catalogue in 3D
The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.
How it feels
A chance encounter between a man and a woman in Paris sets off a chain of small events that touch the lives of several strangers. The film shows how tiny coincidences can alter people's paths in unexpected ways.

What happens
Happenstance is a 2000 French film directed by Laurent Firode and starring Audrey Tautou and Faudel. The film is also known as The Beating of the Butterfly's Wings, a literal translation of its original French title, Le battement d'ailes du papillon. The title references the butterfly effect from chaos theory which is quoted at greater length by one of the characters in the film. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
