The catalogue in 3D
The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.
How it feels
A young woman goes on a journey of discovery. Flashbacks reveal a past romance between two older characters that mirrors her own experiences.

What happens
Snapshots is a 2002 Anglo-American-Dutch film directed by Rudolf van den Berg starring Burt Reynolds and Julie Christie. Reynolds and Christie, though top-billed, have less screen time than does Carmen Chaplin, as a young woman on a journey of discovery. Chaplin's story mirrors the relationship between Reynolds and Christie characters in their earlier life, which is told in flashbacks. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
