Er dokumentiert mit nachgedrehten Spielszenen die Irrfahrt eines von den Nazis initiierten und genehmigten Fluchtunternehmens von Juden beginnend im Jahr 1940 aus Österreich über die Donau, das Mittelmeer bis zur damals englisch verwalteten Insel Mauritius mit dem Dampfschiff Atlantic.
