How it feels

Shabhaye roshan (in persiano شب‌های روشن‎, lett. "Notti bianche") è un film del 2003 diretto da Farzad Motamen, liberamente tratto dall'omonimo racconto di Fëdor Dostoevskij. La sceneggiatura di Saeed Aghighi è anche una rivisitazione del film del 1957 di Luchino Visconti. L'adattamento sposta l'ambientazione dalla San Pietroburgo del racconto di Dostoevskij alla Teheran contemporanea, trasforma l'impiegato sognatore in un professore universitario e sviluppa il rapporto tra i due protagonisti in un modo che riflette le convenzioni socioculturali persiane.
