The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

How it feels

This documentary follows Hrönn Sveinsdóttir as she enters the Miss Iceland pageant. With help from friends and family she films her experience, sometimes without other contestants knowing. The resulting footage caused lawsuits and required cuts for public screenings.

What happens

Í skóm drekans er heimildarmynd um Hrönn Sveinsdóttur, hún ákveður að taka þátt í Ungfrú Ísland, og með hjálp vina og vandamanna tekur hún það allt upp. Margir af keppinautum hennar voru grunlausir um að hún væri að taka upp heimildarmynd, og héldu að hún væri að taka upp persónulegar upptökur. Af þessari ástæðu spruttu upp kærur vegna sýninga myndarinnar í kvikmyndahúsum, sem endaði með því að myndin varð að vera klippt. Í Áramótaskaupinu 2002 var gert mikið grín að myndinni og atburðunum sem komu í kjölfar hennar. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
