Schwabenkinder ist ein Heimatfilm von Jo Baier, der 2003 in Zusammenarbeit mit dem ORF und dem BR entstand und vom im 19. Jahrhundert weit verbreiteten Schwabengehen und darum auch von den Schwabenkindern erzählt. Gedreht wurde der Film in Tirol, Südbayern und Südbaden (Meersburg). Der Film basiert auf dem Roman Die Schwabenkinder – Die Geschichte des Kaspanaze von Elmar Bereuter und erhielt den Fernsehfilmpreis der Deutschen Akademie der Darstellenden Künste.
