In 2003, an Iranian war film tells two stories. One follows a lookout who fights enemies during the siege of Abadan and also confronts a thief in his home. The other focuses on a woman named Gilaneh and her disabled war veteran son as they wait for a traveler from the south on the last day of the year.

روایت سهگانه نام فیلمی است که در سال ۱۳۸۲ ساخته شد و در همین سال در جشنواره فجر به نمایش درآمد. داستان یک دیدهبان است که از یک سو در زمان حصر آبادان با دشمنان مبارزه میکند و از سویی دیگر به مقابله با دزدی که به خانه اش آمده میپردازد. روایت گیلانه و پسر معلول جنگی اش اسماعیل است که در آخرین روز سال ۸۱ چشم به راه رسیدن مسافری از جنوب هستند. این اپیزود بعدها تکمیل و به صورت یک فیلم سینمایی مستقل به نمایش درآمد.
