View from the Top is a 2003 American comedy film directed by Bruno Barreto and starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Christina Applegate, Mark Ruffalo, Candice Bergen, Joshua Malina, Rob Lowe, Mike Myers, and Kelly Preston. The film follows a young woman (Paltrow) from a small town who sets out to fulfill her dream of becoming a flight attendant. Completed in 2001, View from the Top was originally scheduled for theatrical release in December of that year, but was delayed in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks and underwent significant editing.
