Grimm is a 2003 comedy drama film directed by Alex van Warmerdam, based on a script he co-wrote with Otakar Votocek. It is loosely inspired by the Brothers Grimm story "Brother and Sister" and incorporating contemporary urban legends, such as that of the kidney heist.
