What happens

Welcome to Mooseport is a 2004 political satire comedy film directed by Donald Petrie, and starring Ray Romano and Gene Hackman in his final film role, about a US president who has retired after two terms in office, returns to his hometown of Mooseport, Maine and decides to run for Mayor against another local candidate. It was filmed in Jackson's Point and Port Perry in Ontario. Welcome to Mooseport was released by 20th Century Fox on February 20, 2004, in the United States and on July 22, 2004, in Germany.
