How it feels

A teenage girl named Qinghong lives with her parents in a remote inland town during the 1970s. Her father, a factory worker who was forced to move there from Shanghai, pressures her to study for exams so she can escape back to the big city. Qinghong secretly falls for a local boy, which creates conflict with her father's strict plans.
