Sentrale biroller spilles av Nina Woxholtt, Reidar Sørensen, Thorbjørn Harr og Ingar Helge Gimle. Filmen handler om en ung bygutt som møter nye venner og nye utfordringer på landsbygda. Den ble tildelt Amandaprisen for beste barne- og ungdomsfilm. Jassal ble kåret til «Beste unge skuespiller» på Barne- og ungdomsfilmfestivalen i Sotsji i Russland for rollen sin i filmen.
