The film was hosted by Alanis Morissette and Keanu Reeves, which showed an alliance between Democrats and Evangelicals trying to influence the administration out of its lack of action on climate change mitigation. The documentary is a shortened, American-focused version of a three-part Canadian TV series from 2003. Regal Cinemas initially released the film in 34 markets on November 3, 2006 and released in major U.S. cities on November 9, 2006.
