License to Wed is a 2007 American romantic comedy film directed by Ken Kwapis, and starring Robin Williams, Mandy Moore and John Krasinski, with Christine Taylor, Eric Christian Olsen and Josh Flitter in supporting roles. The plot tells the story of a reverend who puts an engaged couple through a grueling marriage preparation course to see if they are meant to be married in his church. License to Wed was released in the United States on July 3, 2007, by Warner Bros. Pictures. It received negative reviews from critics and grossed $70 million on a $35 million budget.
