Counterparts (German: Gegenüber) is a 2007 German psychological drama film directed by Jan Bonny as his debut film. It premiered at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival, where it competed in Directors' Fortnight. It received an honorable mention for the Art Cinema Award, conferred by CICAE, alongside Anton Corbijn's Control.
