How it feels

In a small Japanese mountain village where papermaking is the main industry, a teacher named Kageko gets a visit from her former student Shingo. He proposes a plan to make counterfeit money. She refuses at first but later agrees to help for the sake of the village's poor children and her own child with a disability. The whole village becomes involved in the forgery.
