ও টুনির মা তোমার টুনি কথা শোনে না ২০০৯ সালে প্রকাশিত একটি গান। গানটি রচনা করেন প্রমিত কুমার। গানটি ২০০৯ সালে সিডি ক্যাসেট আকারে এবং ২০১৬ সালে সিএমভি মিউজিক ইউটিউব চ্যানেলে মুক্তি পায় । এটি সে সময়ে দুই বাংলায় জনপ্রিয় সুপারহিট অ্যালবামে পরিণত হয়। নরসিংদীর পলাশ থানার পণ্ডিতপাড়া গ্রামে বসে এই গান লেখেন প্রমিত কুমার। তিন দিন লাগে গানটি শেষ করতে। এরপর ঢাকায় রেকর্ডিং করাতে এলে স্টুডিও থেকে সবাই বলতে থাকেন, "না না, এই রকম গান চলবে না, এটা কোনো গান হলো?" শুনে মন খারাপ হয় প্রমিতের। ইচ্ছা ছিল পঞ্চম অ্যালবামের নাম দেবেন ‘টুনির মা’। কিন্তু অডিও প্রকাশনা প্রতিষ্ঠান সেই নাম বাদ দিয়ে রাখে বউ আমার চেয়ারম্যান। এই নাম নিয়েই প্রমিতের স্বপ্নের প্রথম অ্যালবাম তাঁর হাত আসে। অল্প সময়ের মধ্যেই ‘ও টুনির মা’ গানটি ভারতে ও বাংলাদেশ ব্যাপক জনপ্রিয়তা লাভ করে। (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
