It was filmed in Ottawa and Ontario. The film was produced by Zed Filmworks based in Ottawa, as well as Styx Productions. This film was released direct-to-video. The main theme of the film is child abduction. In the film, an undercover cop is entrusted with the care of a 5-year-old girl.
