What happens
Forskerne i felten er en dokumentarfilm om det tverrfaglige forskningsprosjektet Alna-prosjektete i regi av Universitetet i Oslo og ledet av professor i sosialantropologi Thomas Hylland Eriksen. Prosjektet pågikk i perioden 2009 til 2013 og nærmere 30 forskere fra masternivå til professorer deltok i prosjektet i større eller mindre grad. Flere artikler som Et lite stykke anti-Norge og artikkelsamlingen en globalisert drabantby (Cappelen Damm 2012) var publikasjoner som sprang ut av prosjektet. Filmen følger professor i sosialantropologi Thomas Hylland Eriksen og filmskaper Anders Høgmoen mens de besøker forskere som forsker på forskjellige temaer i Groruddalen. Forskere i felten er en samproduksjon mellom det selvstendige filmproduksjonsselskapet mana production™ og Intermedia ved Universitetet i Oslo.
