How it feels

Two sisters, a part-timer and a high schooler, are asked by their mother to visit their estranged father who is dying and take a photo of him. They travel to a rural town where he lives but find he has already passed away, and they face unexpected emotional turmoil with the family he started.

『チチを撮りに』(ちちをとりに、英題:Capturing Dad)は、2013年2月16日に公開された日本映画。 フリーターの姉・葉月と女子高生の妹・呼春は、父親が14年前に女を作って出て行ってしまって以来、母の佐和と3人で暮らしていた。ある日、佐和から「お父さんがもうすぐ死ぬから会いに行って、ついでにその顔を写真に撮ってきてほしい」と頼まれた姉妹は、困惑しながらも、殆ど記憶に残っていない父親に会いたい気持ちもあり、電車を乗り継ぎ父親のいる田舎町へやってくる。2人はそこで、異母弟の少年や叔父に出迎えられるが、既に父は他界しており、さらに思いがけない人生の修羅場に遭遇する。 (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
