What happens

Filmistaan (transl. The land of films) is an Indian Hindi-language film written and directed by Nitin Kakkar. It was screened at the 17th Busan International Film Festival, the Mumbai Film Festival, and the International Film Festival of Kerala, where it won the Silver Crow Pheasant Award for best debut. It won the Best Feature Film in Hindi at the 60th National Film Awards 2012. Filmistaan was screened internationally at the 24th Palm Springs International Film Festival, the 23rd Tromsø International Film Festival, the 36th Göteborg International Film Festival, and the 5th Jaipur International Film Festival.
