The official theatrical trailer was released on 14 January 2012 while the film was released worldwide on 2 March 2012, to positive reviews. Made on a budget of ₹70 million including promotional costs, the film earned ₹ 240 million. The film earned Rs. 64.3 million in first week in domestic box office and Rs. 90 million lifetime.
