Skenario ditulis oleh Salman Aristo yang juga penulis naskah film Ayat-Ayat Cinta, Laskar Pelangi, Sang Penari . Disutradarai oleh Affandi Abdul Rachman film ini mengambil lokasi syuting di Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Ponorogo Jawa Timur, Sumatera Barat, Bandung, hingga London.
