The film stars Angeliki Papoulia, Vassilis Doganis, Maria Filini, Themis Bazaka, Makis Papadimitriou and Yorgos Biniaris. Tzoumerkas' second feature film after Hora Proelefsis, A Blast had its world premiere at the International Competition section of the Locarno International Film Festival 2014.
