How it feels
During the Second Lebanon War, Tel Aviv becomes a shelter for people fleeing the bombed north. Two couples, one secular and one religious, share an apartment. Their clashing worldviews and growing relationships reveal the deep divisions in Israeli society.

עיר מקלט הוא סרט קולנוע ישראלי שיצא לאקרנים בשנת 2013 בכתיבתו ובבימויו של עמיקם קובנר, עם נבו קמחי, לנה אטינגר, אושרי כהן ורותם זיסמן כהן בתפקידים הראשיים. הצילומים החלו ב-2011 ובתחילה אמור היה הסרט להיקרא בשם "הפסקת אש". העלילה היא על מערכת יחסים מורכבת בין זוג חילוני לזוג דתי החולקים דירה אחת, במהלך מלחמת לבנון השנייה בתל אביב שהפכה עיר מקלט לרבים שהגיעו מהצפון המופגז. דרך הקונפליקטים ומערכות היחסים הנרקמות בין הדמויות, משתקפים המתחים והפערים שקיימים בחברה הישראלית: דתיים – חילונים, ימנים – שמאלנים. הסרט היה מועמד לפרס ג'ורג' הקדוש בפסטיבל הסרטים הבין-לאומי במוסקבה (2014).
