『THE HYBRID 鵺の仔』（ざ はいぶりっど ぬえのこ、英題：）は、2015年（平成27年）7月25日公開の日本映画である。「鵺「鵺」とは、日本最古の歴史書「古事記」や和歌集「万葉集」にその名が見られ、「平家物語」には「鵺退治」の話説として、平安時代末期に時の帝（近衛天皇）を苦しめた妖怪・物の怪として記述がある。」を造形化させた初の特撮によるサイエンス・フィクション映画である。 一人娘の三島チアキは、母ヨシコが経営する温泉郷・鵺ヶ淵（ぬえがふち）へ里帰りする。チアキの父は12年前、母に想いを寄せる男、澤津久森（さわつくもり）によって殺害されていた。同じ頃、辺鄙な山奥にある洋館では、UMA（未確認動物）を専門に扱う雑誌の編集長・京極（きょうごく）が般若心経に身を包み、源頼政（みなもと の よりまさ）の弓を武器に、UMA（未確認動物）を生捕りにして、マダムに差し出していた。マダムは、新鮮なUMAの肉を食べ続ける事で若さを保つ謎の老女。マダムはいう「早く鵺を食べさせて……」と。鵺は、最古の歴史書、古事記や平家物語にも登場する日本古来のUMA。顔は猿で体は狸、手足が虎で尻尾は蛇。そんな化物の血を引く人間が生存していると云われる秘境、それが鵺ケ淵であった･･･。 (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
