קפה נגלר הוא סרט תיעודי ישראלי בבימויים של מור קפלנסקי ויריב בראל, בהפקתו של לירן עצמור ובתמיכת קרן גשר לקולנוע רב תרבותי. הסרט הוקרן בבכורה עולמית בפסטיבל הסרטים הבינלאומי בברלין בשנת 2016, כמה חודשים אחרי הבכורה המקומית בפסטיבל הסרטים הבינלאומי חיפה. עלילה בסרט, הבמאית יוצאת למסע בעקבות הסיפור שמאחורי "קפה נגלר" המפורסם - בית קפה שהוקם ונוהל על ידי משפחתה בראשית המאה ה-20 בברלין. סבתה של הבמאית, נעמי קפלנסקי, דוקומנטריסטית לשעבר, היא נכדתם של בעלי בית הקפה ומלווה את צילומי הסרט בהתרגשות מביתה בישראל. במהלך הצילומים הבמאית מגלה שההיסטוריה האמיתית מאחורי בית הקפה המשפחתי אינה זוהרת כפי שהמשפחה האמינה כל השנים וככל שהאשליה סביב בית הקפה מתפוגגת היא נאלצת לגשר על הפער בין הזיכרון המשפחתי לאמת ההיסטורית. הסרט "קפה נגלר" עושה שימוש בכלים תיעודיים ועלילתיים כדי לעסוק באותו פער.
