Speaking in Tongues is a 2018 American independent drama film written and directed by Nathan Deming and co-written by Lawrie Doran. The film follows Jake, a socially isolated college student in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who converts to Christianity following the death of his mother and joins an evangelism internship in Chicago. As Jake becomes immersed in a highly structured religious environment, he begins to question his beliefs.
