『栞』（しおり）は、2018年公開の日本映画。元理学療法士の経歴を持つ榊原有佑が原案・監督・脚本・編集を務め、三浦貴大が主演を務めた。 幼い頃に母を亡くした高野雅哉は、理学療法士として病院に勤務していた。ある日、彼の元に疎遠だった父・稔が脳腫瘍で入院してくる。延命を拒む父との関係や、高校生の妹・遥への説明に苦悩する中、雅哉は2人の患者を担当する。日本にわずか50人ほどしかいない難病を患う少年・海音と、試合中の怪我で頸髄を損傷した元ラグビー日本代表の藤村孝志である。 雅哉は彼らに寄り添いリハビリに励むが、過酷な現実が襲いかかる。海音は病状が悪化して急逝し、懸命に前を向いていたはずの藤村も、歩けない現実を自覚して病院の屋上から飛び降り自殺を遂げてしまう。さらに手術を終えた父も人工呼吸器に繋がれ、自らの無力さに打ちのめされた雅哉は退職を願い出る。 絶望の底にいた雅哉だったが、健気に家族を支えようとする遥の姿や、海音の両親が未来の医学のために遺体を献体した事実、そして「短い人生だったが雅哉と過ごせて幸せだった」という母からの感謝の言葉に救われる。また、同僚の永田との対話を通じて、患者を救えなかった経験を医療従事者同士が共有することが、将来の患者を救うことにつながるとの思いを新たにする。 やがて雅哉は、日本理学療法学術大会で海音の症例を発表することを決意する。自らができたことだけでなく、できなかったことも率直に伝え、同じ病と向き合う患者や理学療法士の力になることを願いながら演壇に立つ。 (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
