Mackie Messer – Brechts Dreigroschenfilm (Arbeitstitel: Brechts Dreigroschenfilm) ist ein deutsch-belgischer Spielfilm von Joachim A. Lang aus dem Jahr 2018 mit Lars Eidinger, Tobias Moretti, Hannah Herzsprung und Robert Stadlober in den Hauptrollen. Der Film soll den Versuch der Umsetzung des künstlerisch und politisch radikalen Verfilmungskonzepts von Bertolt Brecht für seine „Dreigroschenoper“ darstellen. Die Rahmenhandlung, die in den 1920er Jahren spielt, zeigt die Drehbuchentwicklung vor dem Hintergrund der Weltwirtschaftskrise und des aufkommenden Nationalsozialismus. Veranschaulicht werden Brechts Vorstellungen durch die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Filmproduzenten, dem er etappenweise sein Konzept vorführt. Die Premiere erfolgte am 28. Juni 2018 im Rahmen des Filmfests München, wo die Produktion als Eröffnungsfilm gezeigt wurde. Der Film kam am 13. September 2018 in die deutschen Kinos. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
