Das Drama ist eine Literaturverfilmung des gleichnamigen Buches der Autorin Anne Gesthuysen, das 2012 im Verlag Kiepenheuer & Witsch erschienen ist, und erzählt von drei Schwestern, gespielt von Jutta Speidel, Hildegard Schmahl und Gertrud Roll, die im Jahr 1994 nach Jahrzehnten der Entfremdung auf einem niederrheinischen Gutshof zusammenkommen, um den 100.
