What happens
Wonder Park is a 2019 animated fantasy adventure comedy-drama film written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, about a young girl who encounters a real version of her magical amusement park run by anthropomorphic animals. The film features the voices of Jennifer Garner, Matthew Broderick, John Oliver, Mila Kunis, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong, Norbert Leo Butz, Brianna Denski, and Ken Hudson Campbell. Produced by Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies, the animation was provided by Ilion Animation Studios. The film was directed by Dylan Brown. While he was involved through most of the production period, Paramount dismissed him in January 2018, citing "inappropriate and unwanted conduct". As a result, a director's credit is not included in the final film. Wonder Park was released in the United States on March 15, 2019, by Paramount Pictures. The film received mixed reviews from critics, and was a commercial failure, grossing $119 million against a budget of $80–100M. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
